|  | | There’s a new resident resting beneath the waves in Grand Cayman: the Guardian of the Reef. Settling in just off shore at Lighthouse Point, this 13-foot bronze figure is half swordsman, half seahorse. Divetech owners, Nancy & Jay Easterbrook, called upon artist Simon Morris to create the piece. The strapping statue celebrates Divetech’s 20th anniversary and characterizes Cayman’s dedication to conservation. In fact, a dollar from every dive on the new site will go towards an education program for kids on marine preservation. |
