This September, Four Seasons Explorer is again joining forces with The Manta Trust for two all-inclusive seven-day expeditions dedicated to the awe-inspiring manta ray.

Escorted by Manta Trust Founder, Guy Stevens, from September 1-8 and September 15-22, 2016 (with the option of shorter 3 and 4 night cruises within the dates), each trip combines the thrill of hands-on manta ray research with the superlative surrounds of Four Seasons 39-metre liveaboard, complete with PADI 5-Star Dive Centre.

Limited to a maximum of 22 guests (including non-divers as young as 8), the expeditions immerse participants in every aspect of the Trust’s research and conservation efforts. Learn to free dive and take ID photos; collect manta data; record critical environmental information; participate in workshops and even name any mantas new to the Trust’s database… then chill out with Four Seasons Explorer highlights including deserted sandbank barbecues, castaway beach massages and mind-blowing virgin dive sites.

Each exclusive cruise route combines daily climatic and environmental factors with The Manta Trust’s ‘peak sighting’ predictions to maximise the chances of successful encounters… and with 2014 and 2015 expeditions boasting a 100% sighting success rate of both mantas and whale sharks – including a floodlit midnight dive watching a manta feed – the scene is set for some exhilarating encounters!

Three, four, and seven-night cruises begin at US$850 per person per night, all-inclusive.

Advance reservations required. Offer is subject to availability at time of reservation. Rates include transfers, full board, three dives/snorkeling excursions per day and are subject to 23.2% combined service charge and taxes.
