In November of 2024 Bruce Wilford was walking on Wakatobi's Turtle Beach when he noticed movement in the sand. He started recording and within moments a tiny head emerged, the sand churned, and a coin-sized hatchling crawled into the sunlight. What followed was a unique opportunity to document a green sea turtle hatch that saw dozens of juveniles emerge from the sheltering sands and seek the safety of the sea.
