| | | | Scuba Diving with Disabilities This Cayman Islands Programme Takes You to a Whole New World | | | | The Cayman Islands is synonymous with beautiful beaches, remarkable cuisine, luxurious resorts and most notably world famous scuba diving experiences. And, Roger Muller believed that those dive experiences should be accessible to everyone. That belief is what led him to start Stay-Focused, a diving programme dedicated to offering teens with disabilities the opportunity to dive. Grand Cayman, the home of the diving programme, offers the ideal environment for new and returning divers. The water is warm year-round, which is important for anyone with paralysis; the visibility is great, and the dive sites are close to shore, making for short travel times on the dive boat. Stay-Focused has several programmes that are typically conducted during the summer months when participants are out of school and free to travel to the Cayman Islands.
