Diving in Bali-piece of heaven, above and below the surface

Bali is primarily known as an exotic destination with beautiful beaches, interesting culture and beautiful nature. It is easily accessible and has grown significantly in popularity over the past two years. It is still often overlooked as a destination, however. As a dive site must be very fresh right away. One of the richest coral reefs of the world all over the world for years that we have been in Indonesia for our dive trips, Sulawesi, Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo), you name it. Marine life in Indonesia and coral reefs are one of the richest in the world and very convenient when you are there. About 6 years ago, we decided to take the plunge and try well in Bali.

A decision we never regretted it. The combination of diversity and the interesting culture of water, making it a destination of your choice. Now, many parties and dive later, we also have our dive center here. But what makes Bali so special. I recently read a book of the Netherlands WWF Coral Triangle starting to Bali. "The Coral Triangle is the absolute top of coral reefs around the world. Nowhere in the world is greater than the diversity of this relatively unknown area of Bali, the Philippines and the Solomon Islands. " Can only agree with the claim, as Bali has something for every diver. The novice divers and underwater adventure, a diver who loves to be small in the ocean and diving, which enjoys great things.Manta Ray Diving: a stunning experienceOne of the highlights of diving in Bali is definitely a dive site called Manta Point. Manta Point is close to Nusa Penida-an island off the coast of Bali, with a wealth of dive sites.

This dive, just floating in the water about 5 meters deep. Swimming around isn't necessary, because all action takes place around one main rock. It varies every time, but you can find groups of 8-10 rays here. Rock music is the cleaning station, and mantas circle in this area is often a beautiful formations. A breathtaking experience. Among the mantas come so close could touch. My most impressive dive was here about a year ago. After receiving the mantas have demanded a lot of time with another diver and my husband that we decided it was time to call it a day. At that point, we were divers just left. When we swam back to the boat, away from the rock, we followed the Group of the seven rays. Training, distance three tour by us is less than one metre. It seemed a sort of farewell.

It's definitely taken my breath away, and for me personally, one of the best dives ever. And Manta Point is just one of the many dive sites in Bali. There are over 100 dive sites, so I don't get bored. An ideal combination of diving, culture and beachesSince the Bali offers not only spectacular marine life, but also of culture, nature and beautiful beaches, is an ideal place for those who want to make more than one dive. Couples who don't dive so that you can have fun here. Or, if you're going to do a couple of diving and relaxing on the beach, Bali is the perfect place for you. So my advice to all divers: don't forget to Bali when you plan your next diving holiday when the ice out from one of the most popular diving destinations around the world.
