Powerful photography can change the world. American photographer John Weller has combined his artistic calling with diving and a passion for conversation to help protect the last truly intact ocean habitat on the planet. Thanks in large part to Weller's leadership, some 600,000 square miles of the Southern Ocean has been conserved as one of the world's largest marine protected area, with more proposed protections and even bigger MPAs to come.
